February, 1 2008 Roseau Rams vs. St. Cloud Tech High School

Roseau Rams High School took on the St. Cloud Tech Tigers at the St. Cloud MAC ice arena on this friday night in early February. This is my first High School game that I had the opportunity to shoot. At the time of the game Roseau is maintaining a perfect 19-0 record for the state's only undefeated high school team. This game was a tight race through the first period with some spectacular goaltending by the Tech freshman goalie that held the score 0-0 after the first. The second and third period featured why Roseau is the states high school powerhouse by scoring 4 goals with 3 of the tallies coming shorthanded, including a spectacular goal by future Minnesota Golden Gopher Aaron Ness. With the win Roseau maintains it's respectable 20-0 record.

Roseau in 2007-2008 had a team with numerous "future" D1 players including previously mentioned; Aaron Ness, Nick Oliver, Ben Nelson, and Mike Lee.
